Privacy Statement
1. Collecting your personal information
Edgell Bathurst Jog Organising Committee (Organising Committee) understands that participants of the annual Bathurst Edgell Jog may have concerns about their privacy and the confidentiality and security of information that Committee may obtain about them during event registration. Information is only collected by the Organising Committee for the purpose of registering entrants in the annual jog event. The Committee collects your name, address and gender on the entry form only.
2. What if you do not provide the information we require?
Failure to provide the registration information sought by Organising Committee for the purposes detailed will not enable the organisation to register you for the event thereby excluding you from insurance cover and any prizes provided by the Organising Committee at completion of the event.
3. How does organising committee secure your personal information?
Entry forms are retained for a short period after the completion of the jog each year in a secure location and then they are securely destroyed.
4. To whom do we disclose your personal information?
Information collected from entrants on the entry form is not disclosed to any one outside the Committee and is only used for the purpose described above and for contact purposes where an entrant wins a major draw prize.
5. What if you wish to lodge a question or complaint a concerning the above?
Please write to the Edgell Bathurst Jog Organising Committee, P.O Box 195 Bathurst NSW 2795 for any purpose associated with privacy matters including the lodgement of a complaint.
