The overall program is over an eight week period and with five different workout sessions involved – this has been generally broken into a fortnightly training regime.
Week one and two are set at a 3km distance to begin with. Week four and five then step up to 4kms. Week Five and Six move to 5km distance and week seven moves to the 6km distance. Week eight gives participants the chance to try the 7.5km before the event.
