Electronic Timing

  • Print

Plastic electronic timing shoe tags are laced into competitor's shoes and record the real-time data as entrants cross timing mats on the ground. This will give an accurate time taken to run the 7.5kms. It doesn't matter if you start at the front or the back of the field because your individual time won't begin until you step over the mat. Tags must be returned at the end of the race or a $50 fine will be imposed.
